Shaver Cabin Remodel
project overview
Transforming an Outdated Cabin into a Warm, Rustic Mountain Retreat
This project was a complete interior and exterior remodel converting an outdated cabin into a warm, rustic log cabin design with a cozy, inviting atmosphere throughout. The cabin showcases a thoughtfully designed layout that makes excellent use of the limited space, blending comfort with functionality.
The exterior is highlighted by a striking combination of large natural rock elements and rich log construction, creating a bold yet harmonious mountain-inspired aesthetic. The covered deck addition extends the living space outdoors, complete with an elegant fireplace, heated seating, and a mounted TV which is perfect for relaxing or entertaining year-round.
Inside, the rustic design continues with natural textures, warm tones, and carefully selected finishes that enhance the cabin feel while maintaining modern comfort. The kitchen and bathroom features new retro-style appliances and fixtures that add character and a touch of vintage charm, seamlessly integrated into the updated interior.
This remodel perfectly balances timeless cabin appeal with modern upgrades, resulting in a unique, comfortable, and beautifully crafted living space.
